This truck exists because horses and cattle run out of hay, and the bales are rarely sitting in the same yard as the animals. Semis do not fit those yards. Kijiji ads for 40-round loads are a different business.
We drive an HD pickup and a 30–36′ gooseneck / hay trailer. A load is 1–17 large rounds, depending on availability. We strap them, we do not roll them off the deck, and we set them where you point. Net wrap and fences belong to someone else; we treat them that way.
Home is Leduc–Camrose country. The weekly run is Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Leduc, New Sarepta, Hay Lakes, Camrose, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain. If your pin is outside that corridor, send it anyway — the map will flag it and we will say yes or no the same day.
We are not a hay storefront and we are not a lead form. You are writing to the person who will back the trailer in. Estimates come off driving distance, a dispatch fee, and a per-bale handling line. Nothing is booked until we confirm.
What’s changing. One trailer can’t cover the county, so we’re opening it up: local drivers with pickups and hay trailers can sign up, and anyone with hay to move can post a haul. Same public formula, same no-semi scale. Drivers are independent. They’re approved by hand and rated after every haul. Payment goes straight from shipper to driver. Problems come to admin, and we don’t pretend to be an insurance company.
Who it is for
Horse owners, small cattle, boarding barns.
Acreage people who bought ten rounds and need them moved. Boarding barns that do not want a Super B in the alley. Neighbours shifting hay a few kilometres down the range road. That last one is still a real job — the floor on the estimate exists because loading four wet rounds still takes the morning.
